Hermès is a 1-and-a-half-year-old spayed Akita Inu, who arrived with her sister due to a separation and a move. They used to live together in a large garden, surrounded by chickens, cats, and horses.
Hermès is a dog who enjoys contact, while still keeping the typical characteristics of her breed: independent, she also loves to live her own life, explore, and follow scents at her own pace.
At the shelter, she is reactive to other dogs on the leash. This is mainly due to her lack of experience with regular walks and encounters. She pulls on the leash, but less than her sister. With proper guidance, she will improve and become more comfortable during outings.
Hermès also enjoys playing with humans, but it's important not to let the excitement build up too much: she can quickly get overly excited if the play becomes too intense.
She is a balanced dog who will need a clear structure, patience, and understanding to fully thrive.
