Zumba is a 2-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier, found as a stray and now available for adoption. She is a kind and welcoming dog with humans, but she still struggles a lot with managing her emotions.
She has a lot to learn, such as walking on a leash, and she is reactive with other dogs. She is sociable with visitors who come to see her in front of her kennel, but as soon as she’s outside, poor Zumba gets overwhelmed by the stimuli of her surroundings and becomes an explosive bundle: she barks, runs around, and can’t settle down.
We’re looking for a patient and committed family, ready to provide Zumba with consistent and thoughtful training to help her become a great dog who is comfortable in her own paws.
