The Ravels Shelter, near Turnhout, has, like that of Tournai, been an integral part of Veeweyde since 1992. Its merger with Veeweyde allowed it to expand and allow dogs to let off steam in larger enclosures. You should know that the Turnhout Shelter occupies a very important place in the region: its management fought for a long time to save the animals sold on the Mol market. And in addition, not far from its installation, there are buildings of the Janssens Pharmaceutica Company, which carries out animal experimentation.
