Gaston is a 4½-year-old male American Staffordshire Terrier.

Impressive at first glance—like many Staffords—he hides behind his imposing stature a dog who is deeply kind and close to humans.

Gaston is affectionate with people, gets along with other dogs (with proper introductions), has a good foundation of training, and accepts a harness.

Gaston is an endearing dog, a little “rough” in his manner. He pulls on the leash (work to be continued), loves walks, jumps easily when excited, is very motivated by food, and can be protective of resources. He is not a complicated dog, but he is a powerful and intelligent dog who needs structure, consistency, and activity.

We are looking for:

• People who have time for walks and activities
• A structured and consistent environment
• No young children (powerful dog, sometimes abrupt)

Gaston needs an environment where he can channel his energy and continue to progress calmly.
