In preparation for our Dog Day, which will take place on Saturday 29 August, our Brussels shelter will exceptionally be closed to the public on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August 2026, allowing our teams to prepare for this open day.
During these two days, there will be no walk-in visits and no appointments will be scheduled, including for adoptions.
Our teams will, of course, remain at the shelter to provide the animals with their daily care while also taking care of the many preparations required for the event.
The shelter will reopen to the public on Saturday 29 August for our Dog Day.
