Following a change in the procedure introduced by CatID and DogID regarding the registration of microchips when adopting an animal, identification is now required to complete the administrative formalities.
If you are coming to adopt an animal, please make sure you bring:
- your ID card and PIN code,
or - your smartphone with a working itsme® app.
Without one of these identification methods, your animal’s microchip cannot be registered and the adoption process cannot be finalized.
We therefore recommend checking before your visit that you know your PIN code or that your itsme® app is working properly.
