Recently, several people have come to our shelter after seeing fake online ads for cats supposedly available for adoption through our shelter. One woman even came to pay for a cat she had never seen!
Warning: This is a scam. Malicious individuals are pretending to be us in order to steal money (through bank transfers, remote payments, special cards, etc.) in exchange for non-existent animals.
Remember:
- We never ask for remote payments
- Adoptions are only done on-site at the shelter, after meeting the animal and signing the adoption contract.
- If you come across a suspicious ad using our shelter’s name, do not respond, do not make any payments, and notify us immediately at 02/527.10.50.
