A few days ago, we welcomed Noupy, a lovely 11-year-old Bull Terrier, in a state of health that broke our hearts.
Her owner, now hospitalized in geriatrics, no longer had the ability to care for her, and Noupy was living in severe neglect, deprived of the most basic care.
- Untreated chronic ear infections, leading to complete deafness
- Severe dermatitis that was never treated, leaving her skin raw
- Eyes completely sealed shut by crusts, preventing her from seeing
- Ulcers and entropion
- Multiple tumors on her mammary chain
It was a true SOS.
After the abandonment was signed, Noupy was taken in by our shelter, treated, soothed, and surrounded with care… and then, as if it was meant to be, she found her family. And what a family! Our animal caregiver Jess couldn’t resist: she adopted her.
And today, Noupy lives in a home full of love, pampered, cleaned, cared for, fed, and loved.
Today, Noupy can see a little again, understands love, and enjoys every moment.
