Good news for our brave Malinois Kaia, who was recently adopted by the Uccle K9 unit! ? ?
After three months of successful testing, she has officially joined the program to become a certified patrol dog.
And that’s not all: once this first step is completed, Kaïra (her new name given by her police partner) will begin specialized training to earn her certification as an active drug detection dog.
Her impressive adaptability and energy already make her a very promising recruit.
For certain dogs, like the Belgian Malinois shepherds, their energy, work instinct, and mental sharpness are such that they thrive when given an active role, when they have a mission.
