This Wednesday, the 21st of May, we had the opportunity and pleasure to welcome the Cadets from Brussels Police zone Bruxelles Capitale-Ixelles for a photo shoot at our Anderlecht Shelter. A collaboration initiated by these young cadets as a way to raise public awareness and advocate for our animals here at the refuge.

These cadets generously gave their time to visit the shelter, learn about our work, and, of course, meet some of our residents ?

They spent the afternoon visiting and posing with our dogs, cats, guinea pigs and goats – much to everyone’s delight (including our animals – who had an afternoon full of play and treats!)

The photos taken will be shared over the next few days on Veeweyde’s and PolBru’s social networks to maximise their chance of adoption.

We hope that this collaboration will see some of the animals in our care leave the shelter with their new forever families!

We would like to give a huge thank you to the cadets for their  commitment, compassion and respect towards our animals.
