On Friday 17 October, we had the immense honour of welcoming Her Excellency the Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, accompanied by her husband and a delegation of more than 30 people, for a donation ceremony marked by respect and tradition.
During this solemn ceremony, members of the Embassy made a collective donation to our shelter, representing a value equivalent to €1,300 in food, equipment and supplies for our residents.
This generous gesture was made in tribute to the late kings of Thailand, notably His Majesty King Rama V and Rama the Great, who were deeply committed to animal welfare.
The ceremony was marked by great solemnity, in a profound spirit of sharing, compassion and humanity, with a speech by Her Excellency Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador.
?? After the offering, the delegation had the opportunity to visit our shelter and meet our animals. It was a moment of great human and cultural enrichment for us.
