In celebration of World Dog Day, our Brussels shelter located at Avenue d’Itterbeek 600, 1070 Anderlecht, is opening its doors on Saturday, August 30th, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
With this event, we aim to:
- Raise awareness about animal welfare issues, particularly regarding abandonment, abuse, and the importance of adopting rather than buying
- Celebrate the unique bond that has united humans and dogs for thousands of years
- Encourage good practices in care, training, and well-being for all animals
The program includes:
- A tour of the shelter to meet our animals available for adoption
- Presentations in our parks of our dogs available for adoption
- An exhibitors’ village: Many guests will join us for the day, and you’ll have the opportunity to discover their activities and creations!
- An enriching workshop led by Refuges et Tableaux Noirs
- Our shop featuring various items, including our exclusive goodies
- A special crepe food truck: “Privé de Dessert”
- Opportunities for conversations with our team members
